I took a workshop last month from Vickie West, who is in our guild (AAQG). She does fantastic machine quilting and dyeing. Vickie is a great teacher, and really cares about the students. She teaches in her home. It was so much fun--Vickie taught us quite a few techniques for wrapping, folding, painting, etc. These are all low immersion dyed with fiber reactive Procion dyes. Vicki already had mixed them, so we just got to play with the colors.
Some of the fabrics I dyed are below--not ironed & spread out on the sofa.
I'm very pleased, and hope to do more.

| This was painted & left to dry. The others were all folded various ways, then immersed in the dye, or the dye was squirted, sprinkled, dabbled, on them. |

I love them- they are so bright and colorful. Just like you!
