AAQG 2012 Show Raffle Quilt Revealed!

The Austin Area Quilt Guild 2012 Show Quilt was revealed last night at our meeting. It is gorgeous!   You will all want to buy raffle tickets!  They will be $1 each, or 6 for $5.  I  will be happy to send them to you!  (The show information is not up yet, but it will be in September 2012.)

 I am happy to have been part of this project.  The quilt name is Affairs of the Heart by Aie Rossman.  (permission of author & publisher to use).  It is all hand appliqued and hand embroidered.  The quilt is machine quilted in a blue that is extremely subtle and highlights the beauty of the applique in the quilt.  The quilter was Martha Tsihlas, owner of Del Sol Quilts.  She also quilted the Chisholm Trail Raffle Quilt this year.

Last week the Raffle Quilt chair sent all of us who worked on it a surprise. It was a pair of earrings with the design of the block that we each did.  Here's my pair of earrings. Can you find my block in the quilt?
