Christmas Tree in Jeffrey's honor & memory

Quite a few people in Austin decorate trees along highway 360 after Thanksgiving.  Last year Andrea & I decorated one in Jeffrey's memory. This year we were running late, due to me going to Dallas to Paige's wedding, then a very wet weekend.  We finally got the decorations up last Sunday .  Many of the nice trees were already decorated.  Some of the gorgeous trees are up on the cliffs, and we are not brave enough to climb up there. We found a nicely shaped tree, that was easily accessible, and off we went. It was cold, windy, and a lot of fun.  It's harder than it looks.  Anyway, it's in Jeffrey's memory.  I think that this tradition was originally started by people in remembrance of a loved one, but now many people just do it for fun.

The perfect tree!

It's harder than it looks!

Two little penguins with a rocket ship for our Rocket  Surgeon.

Voila!  We couldn't each the top, but it looks better than most.
